PURPOSE:To provide a suspension arm allowing the application of less parts accuracy to the welded section of a ball joint device mounted on an arm body, improving the degree of freedom for the joint performance of the device and the welded position thereof, eliminating a need of removing an excessive thickness section formed at the time of molding a socket, and further allowing cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:A suspension arm has mounting hole 3 at the outer end 1a of an arm body 1 to be joined to the side of a wheel, and the external side of the socket 4 of a ball joint device 2 inserted in the hole 3 is provided with a welding flange 9 using an excessive thickness section formed at the time of molding the socket 4. The socket 4 is inserted in the hole 3 of the arm body 1, and the welding flange 9 of the socket 4 is fastened to the arm body 1 with resistance welding. |
