PURPOSE:To improve the heat-insulating property and to reduce the weight of a repairing material for buildings by incorporating a foamy vinylidene resin foamed grain into a cement mortar as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:This repairing material for a building is formed from a mixture with the cement (e. g. portland cement and alumina cement) and foamy vinylidene chloride resin foamed grain as the essential components. The foamed grain is obtained by expanding the bead obtained by impregnating an amorphous vinylidene chloride copolymer with a foaming agent (e. g. propane and pentane). This repairing material is excellent in light weight and heat-insulating property and is used as the heat-insulating material for the ceiling, wall, tile bed, etc., of an ordinary building. |
