PURPOSE:To improve a processing speed by suitably processing to develop data transferred from a host system to the data to be used for a segment recording system. CONSTITUTION:Image data 15-a, 15-b, 15-c,... to be used for recording segments of one page are sequentially developed in a ring buffer memory having N-bit physical address, and read. In this case, image data previously developed but not recorded is retained. Thus, image data of a maximum limit can be developed in response to a capacity of the memory irrespective of the segment, and a processing speed can be improved. |
