摘要 The platform (1) carries machinery for under water work, and has legs (21, 22) to support it on the sea bed (4). The cables (81, 82) may be attached to buoys (91,92) until required and pass through pre-positioned pulleys (71, 72) to winches ashore or aboard ship. The legs settle onto the anchor blocks of the pulleys. The platform has watertight compartments enabling its buoyancy to be adjusted for sinking or flotation for sea transit. The cable movement, the platform buoyancy and the machinery operation are under remote control (10, 11). ADVANTAGE - May be used for work as deep as 300 metres, there is no risk to divers, and can it can operate submerged indefinitely.
