PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the replacement of a resin in a blow molding machine by supplying a new unmelted pellet resin to a die while mixing the same in a resin passage to remove the old resin remaining in the die in a bonded state. CONSTITUTION:At the time of replacement of an old resin with a new resin, the new resin is supplied to the inner hole 33a of an extruder 33 from a hopper in such a state that an opening and closing valve 40 is opened and opening and closing valves 39, 55 are closed and a screw 35 is rotated while the new resin is heated. The molten new resin 41 is stored in an accumulator 32 while an injection plunger 38 is allowed to retreat as shown by a broken line 38a. Subsequently, the opening and closing valve 40 is closed and the opening and closing valves 39, 55 are opened and, when an injection plunger 38 is advanced in this state, the molten new resin 41 is supplied to a die 28 through a resin passage 31. |
