PURPOSE: To enable quick adjustment in the case of attachment or check of a brake system by preventing the unintended after adjustment of motor-vehicle handbrakes. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a structure unit having three stoppers 3, 13 and 33 for adjusting the effective length of two unidirectional connectors 30 and 31 and a brake tension mechanism and for determining the moving position of an operating member 24. One unidirectional connector locks the relative positions of a brake lever and the operating member 24 under brake force operation with engaging and connecting operation and the other unidirectional connector has an insertion enable and detachable lock member 18 arranged between two stoppers of the structure unit.
