<p>PURPOSE:To make a ball hit sensation of the two-piece golf ball similar to that of an elastic string wound-up golf ball. CONSTITUTION:In the two-piece gold ball consisting of a core formed by base rubber, and a rubber composition containing a co-crosslinking agent and an organic peroxide, and a cover, this core has the following hardness distributions by a display by a JIS-C hardness meter, 1) center hardness: 58-73, 2) hardness in 5-10mm from the center: 65-75, 3) hardness in 15mm from the center: 74-82, and 4) surface hardness: 76-84, [in the hardness distribution, 1)-4) are roughly constant within the respective hardness ranges, and also, width is + or -3, and a relation of 1)<2)<3)<=4) is satisfied]. Moreover, this two-piece golf ball has 3.5-4.3mm compression deformation at the time when 10kg initial tension to 130kg final tension are applied, and its cover has a thickness of 2.1-2.8mm.</p> |
