The present invention reduces the product cost of positive electrode cases and improves the productivity of electrochemical cells by suppressing anodic oxidation of the positive electrode case, without an aluminium layer inside. The electrochemical cell with a non-aqueous electrolyte, uses for a material of the positive electrode case (11), a high grade corrosion resistibility stainless steel or high corrosion resistance austenitic ferrite stainless steel. The cost of high corrosion resistibility positive electrode cases is decreased and a high pressure tightness electrochemical cell can be manufactured. <IMAGE>
