The apparatus (1) has a power unit for communication between the subscriber terminal (1) and a fixed base station (3) of a mobile radio network. It also has a function unit to support at least one mobile radio service at the subscriber end. The power unit and the function unit are each arranged in a functionally and constructionally separate module (10, 20, 20'). The power module (10) includes a h.f. power end stage and a h. f. input stage for transmission or reception of mobile radio signals with first carrier frequencies (f1, f2). Both modules (10, 20, 20') have a transceiver (13, 23) for wireless, intra-terminal communication with second carrier frequencies (fa, fb).
