PURPOSE:To eliminate the influences to the recording characteristics of a medium caused by a storage environment by maintaining the storage environment of the process from for forming a recording film to for forming a light reflecting film on a recording film to be <=30% relative humidity. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording medium 2 is produced by forming a recording film 12 on a light transmissible substrate 11 and forming a light reflecting film 13 on the recording film 12, and further, usually forming a protective film 14 on the reflecting film 13. In this case, the storage environment of the process from for forming the recording film 12 to for forming the light reflecting film on the recording film, is maintained to be <=30% relative humidity. Thus, influences to the recording characteristics of the medium in the storage environment is almost prevented and the obtd. medium has excellent reliability. |
