PURPOSE:To shorten the measurement time and to eliminate the variance of the measured value by combining a measuring system and a personal computer to simultaneously measure transmission and reception parts of an optical interface. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with pulse pattern generators 1 and 2 which generate first and second test signals, an E/O converter 3 which converts the first electric test signal to an optical signal, a reception part 8 as the measurement object which outputs the first optical test signal as an electric signal, an error detector 6 which detects the code error in the reception part 8 as the measurement object, a transmission part 9 as the measurement object which outputs the second electric signal as an optical signal, an O/E converter 4 which converts the second optical test signal to an electric signal, an oscilloscope 7 on which waveforms of the first test signal from the reception part 8 as the measurement object and the second test signal from the O/E converter 4 are observed, and an optical. power meter 5 which measures the light wavelength and the optical power of the output of the transmission part 9 as the measurement object. Further, a personal computer 10 which controls measurement and automatically processes the result is provided. |
