<p>PURPOSE:To provide the velocity data compressing and recording method which improves the efficiency of compression by widening an estimated range by preventing a starting point from being fixed first. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic upper limit value VFH1 and an arithmetical lower limit value VEL1 corresponding to velocity V0 at a time point t0 and values VEH2 and VEL2 corresponding to velocity V1 at a time point t1 are provided. A line LH1 linking the values VEH1 and VEL2 and a line LL1 linking the values VEL1 and VEH2 are assumed, and then an estimated upper limit value VNH1 and an estimated lower limit value VNL2 at a time point t2 are calculated. When a value VEH3-VEL3 corresponding to velocity V2 at the time point t2 is overlapped with a value VH1-VNL1, '1' is added to the number of sampling. A line LH linking the smaller value of the VEH3 and VNH1 and the value VEH2 and a line LL linking the larger value of VEL3 and VNL1 and the value VEL2 are assumed, and intersections VXH and VXL of VEH1-VEL1 are calculated. A midpoint between these intersections and the values VEL1 and VEH1 is recorded as starting point car velocity V1S.</p> |
