An interior rear-view mirror for motor vehicles which automatically deflects in the event of reflections or dazzling from the rear, doing away with manual actuation of the anti-dazzle flange. The cell C, placed inside the mirror casing, detects dazzling and activates the one or more solenoids S which compress the movable part PM against the fixed part P and thus the mirror deflects upwards. The mirror casing returns to its initial position when the reflection or dazzling ceases. Meanwhile, also upon command from the cell C, a temporary light signal is produced via CT and PP, timer circuit and flasher circuit, in the rear lights of the affected vehicle and to alert the vehicle that it is causing dazzling. This type of circuit gives rise to calm driving and protects the eyes against tiredness. <IMAGE>
