PURPOSE:To decrease the number of times of registration of a dictionary by handling the phenomenon of a compound world of Japanese language, etc. CONSTITUTION:A word synthesis part 7 receives a morpheme string that is the result of a morpheme analysis part 3 based on a morpheme dictionary 1 and a morpheme part of speech neighboring table 2, and converts it into a word string. The word synthesis part 7 performs the general synthesis of the stem and end of a conjugation word, and transformation/derivative/ compound processing parts 8a, 8b perform the synthesis of the compound word in addition to the processing of transformation and derivation. When a Japanese verb follows immediately after a 'RENYO' form (a Japanese conjugation form for verbs, adjective) that is not the eupheny of the Japanese verb, a connected word is handled as a compound Japanese verb provided with the conjugation of the Japanese verb of the latter. |
