<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the operating state of a load control appratus as desired by a method wherein a second infrared detection element is installed in a position which is different from a detection region for a first infrared detection element and, whenever a human body is detected by the second detection element and an infrared detection signal is output, the continuation of a signal output state for load control use and the release of the continuation are changed over alternately. CONSTITUTION:When a human body enters a detection region for a first infrared detection element 1A, a signal for load control use is output from a signal processing means. When the human body stays for many hours, a detection region for a second infrared element 1B is blocked by a hand or the like, and the output state of the signal for load control use is continued. Consequently, even when the human body stays inside the detection region for many hours in a stationary state or a state having a small movement and it is in a state which cannot be detected by the element 1A, the operating state of a laod control apparatus is maintained as desired. In addition, when the human body leaves the detection region and the operating state of the load control apparatus is to be changed over, the continuation of the output state of the signal is changed over to the state of a release when the detection region for the element 1B is blocked again by one part of the human body.</p> |
