In the assembly of the two fittings (1,2), one of the fittings (1) has in its lateral edges (3,3') a marginal cut-out (4,4') whose length corresponds to the lateral displacement of the unit. On the lateral sides of the other fitting (2) projections (5,5') curving inwards engage each one with the marginal cut-outs and the lip of these projections clips under the lateral edges of the other fitting when inserted from above. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the fitting of coverings to recessed rails, links or plates associated with doors or windows at points of impact where the method of fitting improves the assembly stability and facilitates its mounting.
