VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of the capacity control of a variable displacement capacity compressor. CONSTITUTION:The respectivess of capacity control can be improved at the whole control sphere of a compressor by providing an air feed passage 30 to connect a discharge chamber 3b to a crankcase 2a; a first control valve 20 to open/close the air feed passage 30 in response to suction pressure; steam extraction passages 41a, 41b to connect the crankcase 2a to a suction chamber 3a; and a second control valve 40 to regulate the opening of the steam extraction passages 41a, 41b in response to discharge pressure.
