Thienopyrrole derivs. of formula (I) and their non-toxic salts are new. Where R1 = H, halogen, 1-6C alkyl, 3-6C alkenyl, 1-4C alkoxy methyl, benzyl, phenyl (opt. substd. by one or more halogens or alkyl), -COOR or -CONR'R", R = 1-4C alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, R' and R" = H or 1-4C alkyl, R2 = H, halogen, or 1-4C alkyl, and R3 = 4,5-dihydro-1H -imidazol-2-yl or 1H-imidazol-4-yl.
