DEVICE FOR GRINDIlNG CURVED SURFACES ON OBJECTS This invention relates to a device for grinding rocks and other articles into round shapes or shapes with curved surfaces. The device can be mounted on a standard rock cutting wheel saw to thereby convert the wheel saw into a shape making apparatus. The device enables objects to be ground into curved shapes using a circular planar cutting wheel which comprises: (a) a base having a curved plane and mountable on the table of a cutting wheel; and (b) a rotatable shaft disposed relative to the base, and movable along the curved base, the shaft supporting a holder which is adapted to hold the object that is to be ground into a curved shape.
