<p>PURPOSE:To provide a package made of a perforated synthetic resin film having a specified hole area ratio and capable of accommodating a unit amount of shredded cucumber within a specified ratio of the inner surface area and of preventing the generation of an odor due to anaerobic respiration and discoloration due to excessive oxygen for a long period. CONSTITUTION:In a package for packaging shredded cucumber capable of keeping the freshness of the shredded cucumber by making the shredded cucumber accommodated in the synthetic resin film package continue respiration in a suitable oxygen atmosphere, this package is made of a nylon-polyethylene composite film having 250mmX350 mm inner dimension and 50mum thickness. Holes of 10 to 150mum hole diameter are made in the package film so that the hole area ratio may be 1X10<-5> to 5X10<-4>%. Shredded cucumber is charged in the package so that the inner surface area of the package per 100g shredded cucumber may be 100 to 600cm<2>, thus producing the objective package for packaging shredded cucumber capable of keeping the oxygen atmosphere so as to prevent an anaerobic respiration under a low-oxygen condition caused by respiration of the shredded cucumber while preventing discoloration due to oxygen for a long period.</p> |
