PURPOSE:To improve the handling utility by providing a control means, which automatically switches a mode and continues the printing at a specific timing when the size of paper instructed from a controller is different from the size of the actually supplied paper. CONSTITUTION:A paper-size-disagreement control means 221 is provided for a printer control part 203 for electronic photograph printer. In the standby state of printing after the detection of the size of paper during the time from the turning-ON of a rear-end sensor 116 to the turning-OFF, the designated paper size from a controller 202 is compared with the detected paper size. When both sizes are different, the error of the paper-size disagreement is judged. When the error is judged, the designation of the paper size from the controller 202 is disregarded, and the mode is changed into the mode, wherein the control is performed at the specified timing based on a specific data. Thus, the requirement for the strict judgment when the paper size is selected is decreased and the using conditions are improved for users. |
