<p>PURPOSE:To-provide the process for production of the liquid crystal display device which can make color display and gradation display with good image quality by using varistor elements. CONSTITUTION:This process for production consists in forming the varistor elements 13 by baking, then selectively applying a prescribed overvoltage to the prescribed varistor elements 13 within each one set to one set having plural pieces of the varistor elements 13 and pixel electrodes 12 within one block to one set corresponding to the picture element to once break the elements, then baking the elements again and setting the overvoltages preferably in plural ways and destroying the different varistor elements within each one set by the selectively different overvoltages.</p> |
