A description is given of a window frame which comprises a first profile strip, which engages around the window edge and is made of dimensionally stable material, and a second profile strip, which is connected therewith, is made of flexible material and is constructed with a hollow profile. The frame, which is made of a dimensionally stable and of a flexible strip material, is composed of individual strips which are connected to one another at the window corners, the profile strips (5), which are made of dimensionally stable material, are connected to one another by overlapping and the profile strips (6), which are made of flexible material, are connected to one another by corner connectors (7), the corner connectors (7) being composed of flexible material, being hollow in design throughout, having spikes (16), which are designed in an offset manner and are inserted into the free ends of the hollow profile (13) of the profile strips (6), and being adhesively bonded to the profile strips (6). <IMAGE> |
