PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a transom by a method wherein the lap connection end parts of two rails from which a laterally movable airtight power door is suspended are arranged with a distance therebetween in a horizontal direction and a difference in a level in a vertical direction, and during opening and closing, a sash roller is prevented from interfering with the other rail. CONSTITUTION:A drive part 1 is arranged in a transom 11. The lap connection end parts of front and rear rails 5a and 5b from which a laterally movable airtight power door 9 is suspended are arranged with a distance therebetween slightly higher than the thicknesses of flanges 25 of sash rollers 7a and 7b. Further, the lap connection end parts are arranged with a difference in a level H slightly higher than the depth of a groove 26 of the sash roller. During opening and closing of the door 9, the end parts of the sash rollers 7a and 7b are prevented from interfering with the other rail 5a or 5b. This constitution enables reduction of the size of the transom 11. |
