PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive ultrasonic motor by reducing the number of compositional members of the ultrasonic motor thereby enhancing assembly workability. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic motor comprises a stator 20 and a rotor 30 press contacting with the stator at one end thereof and rotating together with the stator 20 wherein the stator 20 comprises piezoelectric elements 70, 90 for longitudinal and torsional oscillations and a plurality of holding members 60, 80, 100 fastened in the axial direction of a holding shaft 40. The holding shaft 40 is engaged with a compression spring 160 for pressing the rotor 30 against the stator 20 and a spring receiver 170 for fixing the compression spring 160 wherein the spring receiver 170 is provided with a recess for holding the compression spring 160 and a threaded part to be screwed over the holding shaft 40. |
