PURPOSE:To generate a photometric value as accurate as at normal photographing even at the time of trimming photograph by performing photometry upon switching into the finder field in the normal photographing mode at the time of photometry after switching into the trimming photographing mode. CONSTITUTION:In the trimming photographing mode, an LCD 4 for masking is driven so as to cover the areas other than the trimming photograph scope, and a finder field according to the trimming scope is obtained. The object to be photographed on a focusing screen 3 can be observed when the image of object within the trimming scope reaches an eyepiece lens 6. At photometry in the trimming mode, the LCD 4 is driven again, and light shutting in the shield range is disengaged. The light flux from the image over the focusing screen 3 is converged on a photodetector element 8 by a photometry lens 7, and the brightness of the image is measured. |
