PURPOSE: To provide a ferromagnetic magnet having two gaps, supplying a uniform magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A superconducting magnet for synchrotron particle accelerator is provided with two gaps 4a and 4b, having beam pipes 2a and 2b inside. A magnetic flux pipe 14 is provided between the two gaps 4a and 4b, so that the magnetic flux path of 360 deg. is formed. A superconducting coil 8 surrounds the gaps 4a and 4b, and the magnetic flux pipe 14 and a right-angled magnetic field crossing the beam pipe 2b is generated. The magnetic flux pipe 14 is formed by a non-magnetic materials for linear magnet or is formed by a ferromagnetic stack material, in parallel to the direction of the magnetic field. Then, the superconducting magnet, for which the occurrence of eddy current is minimum, is formed. The magnetic flux pipe 14 is provided with a magnetic stress removal bubble magnetic part 12 correcting cloud effect around the inner radius. A band 20 having a filler material 16 is arranged at the periphery of the band 20, and reacts to the reverse Lorentz force which is generated by the magnetic field. |
