<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic toner having superior low- temperature fixability and sufficient offset resistance and sufficient fluidity by incorporating a linear polyester specified in physical properties as a fixing resin, and a wax specified in a softening point as a releasing agent. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic toner is composed of the linear polyester having a softening point of 80-120 deg.C and a glass transition point of 45-65 deg.C as the fixing resin, and as the releasing agent the wax A of 80-110 deg.C softening point and the wax B of 140-160 deg.C softening point in the weight ratio A/B of 1/1-1/5 and in the amount of both waxes of 1-10 weight % of the fixing resin. The linear polyester is obtained by condensation reaction of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. As for the wax A, the mixture of straight saturated hydrocarbons byproduced by the Fischer-Tropsch coal to oil liquefaction process is used and a polyolefin wax is used for the wax B.</p> |
