BLANKET AND PRODUCTION OF COLOR FILTER USING BLANKET

PURPOSE:To provide a blanket having both of a high ink transfer rate and fine line reproducibility and to produce a color filter using the blanket. CONSTITUTION:A blanket 1 is formed by providing a surface rubber layer 4 on a base fabric 2 through a compression layer 3. The surface rubber layer 4 is formed from mirabelle silicone rubber formed using straight chain polyorganosiloxane with a polymerization degree before vulcanization of 3000-10000, silicone rubber having a structure based on methyl vinyl siloxane and having a phenyl group and a fluoro group introduced thereinto or silicone rubber based on methylvinylsiloxane and containing methylphenylvinylsiloxane and methylfluorovinylsiloxane. The ink held on an intaglio is transferred to an object to be printed using a blanket cylinder having the blanket 1 mounted thereon to produce a color filter.
