摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a spot-like void on an image and scratching to the surface of a photosensitive body and the sticking of a carrier to the photosensitive body causing the chipping off of a cleaning blade, etc., at the time of reoperation after the sudden stopping by executing a fault detection and sumultaneously, irradiation with the light of a wavelength effective in the attenuation of the electrification potential of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:When the jamming of papers for copy, or a failure in its carrying, etc., occurs and an image forming device is stopped, a part of the photosensitive body 1 just after being electrified has the potential by the electrification of 600-900V. When the part of the potential passes a developing device 4 at the time of starting copying, the carrier is stuck to the surface of the photosensitive body 1. Therefore, for preventing the sticking of the carrier, the destaticization of the electrified surface potential is executed before a developing operation. Consequently, the photosensitive body 1 is irradiated with the light of the wavelength effective in the attenuation of the potential by the electrification to be diminished by a light source (destaticizer) 11. The wave length of the light source 11 used is set according to each part of the photosensitive body 1.
