<p>PURPOSE:To enable to use an induction generator as an independent generator by connecting a load and a DC/AC converter to the AC output side of the generator and connecting a condenser to the DC side of the DC/AC converter. CONSTITUTION:The AC side of a voltage type DC/AC converter IV is connected to the AC output side of an induction generator IM connected to a drive prime mover D, and a capacitor C is connected to the DC side of the converter IV. A load L is connected to the AC output side of the generator IM. The exciting reactive power of the motor IM and the reactive power of the load are supplied from the converter IV, and the generator IM and the converter IM are controlled to supply the effective power from the generator IM to the load. In this manner, the induction generator is used as an independent generator.</p> |
