<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the slip and degradation of a powder clutch by raising an exciting current to the clutch gradually in the case of confirming the slip state of the clutch with a slip factor of the fixed value or more during travel at the fixed speed or higher. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 4 compares the rotating speed from an engine rotation sensor 5 with the rotating speed from a clutch output side rotation sensor 11 so as to compute a slip factor, and judges the generation of a slip in the case of the slip factor being the fixed value or more. At the time of judging an automobile to be traveling at the considerable speed, the control circuit 4 instructs an exciting current driving circuit 10 to gradually raise an exciting current to a powder clutch 3. The locking force of the clutch 3 is thereby increased gradually, and in the case of judging the vanishment of slip, the increase part to the original exciting current value is stored in the control circuit 4, and the increase margin of the slip preventing current is added to the preset exciting current value. The clutch 3 is thereby locked with locking force free from the generation of a slip.</p> |
