PURPOSE:To provide a syndiotactic polystyrene biaxially oriented film having excellent handling characteristics irrespective of the thickness of the film and excellent feeding characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The syndiotactic polystyrene biaxially oriented film comprises styrene polymer having substantially a syndiotactic structure, wherein the three- dimensional surface roughness SRa of at least one side surface is 0.04mum or more, the PCC value number of protrusions per unit area of the central surface of roughness is 2000pieces/mm<2> or more, and the air bleeding speed is 500sec or less.
