PURPOSE:To add a simple mechanism for enhancing a positioning accuracy of a registration starting row to a print head with a small size, a light weight to a printer at a portable bankbook registering terminal. CONSTITUTION:A platen roller 15 and a printer 95 are so disposed as to be vertically opposed. A clamper 28 is provided at an innermost side from disposing positions of the roller and the printer, and a sensor 83 is provided at an innermost side from an initializing position of the clamper. After a leading end of a bankbook 151 inserted between the roller and the printer is clamped by the clamper 28 at the initialized position, the clamper and the bankbook are moved to the innermost side, and a reference position of the bankbook is indexed by the sensor. Further, a drawing amount of the bankbook from the reference position to a desired print starting row is indexed by a controller and the bankbook is drawn in based on it. |
