PURPOSE:To provide an electrode plate with a retainer where contact between the electrode plate and the retainer can be enhanced, gas generation at the time of electric charging is restrained for the purpose of elimination of shortage of the electric charging, and a cycle lifetime characteristic can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of projections 1c are formed on one surface of a grid 1. A retainer 4 is disposed on one side of the grid 1. The projections 1c of the grid 1 are inserted into the retainer 4. The grid 1 is filled, at the other surface not closed by the retainer 4, with paste 5 in such a manner as to be brought into contact with the retainer 4 on the back. |
