PURPOSE:To surely recognize a vehicle entered or exited to/from a parking lot even in a gate capable of allowing vehicles to pass in two directions by judging the entrance or exit of a vehicle based upon the sensing order of vehicle sensing sensors. CONSTITUTION:Vehicle sensing sensors 1, 2 are arranged along the entering/ exiting road of vehicles. Sensing signals from the sensors 1, 2 are inputted to a microcomputer (muCPU) 5 in a control part. A number N (corresponding to the number of vehicles allowed to park on the parking lot) inputted by a digital switch 6 is entered into the muCPU 5. When the sensors 1, 2 sense a vehicle, the muCPU 5 calculates (N+1) or (N-1) in accordance with the sensing order of the sensors 1, 2. The calculated result is transmitted to a display part through a communication driver 8 and 'empty', the number of vehicles parked at present, or 'filled' is displayed on a display device 12. |
