PURPOSE:To obtain the device publishing various measured data obtained at every measuring points to general people with high reasoning power. CONSTITUTION:A measured data insertion device is equipped with a sensitivity setting circuit 7 for setting the input sensitivity of the measuring signal from a specific measuring point, a unit setting circuit for setting the unit of the measuring signal, a character data signal generating circuit 10 converting the measuring signal set in sensitivity and a unit signal to character data and counter means 13, 14 counting the synchronizing signal of the image signal obtained by taking the image of the measuring point. Further, the insertion device is equipped with a display position setting circuit 15 for setting the display position of the character data on a screen, a coincidence detection circuit 16 for comparing the count values of the counter means with the display position of the display position setting circuit 15 and detecting the coincidence of both of them and a changeover switch 17 for inserting the character data in the image signal on the basis of the coincidence detection of the coincidence detection circuit 16.
