The Glass bead for a road marking paint is composed of 53-59 wt.% silicon oxide (SiO2), 27-31 wt.% lead oxide (PbO), 0.5-2 wt.% barium oxide (BaO), 5-9 wt.% potassium oxide (K2O), 0.1-2 wt.% aluminium oxide (Al2O3), 3-5 wt.% sodium oxide (Na2O) and 0.6-2 wt.% R2O. The glass bead has a good refractive index and light-absorptive ratio, and a high luminance and reflection effect.
