The pincers are operated by an articulated handle (2) and a push/pull rod (5) which is mounted movable on same. Only the front half (9) of the pincers is forked near the joint (5). The actual grippers (7) seizing the weeds are made from spring steel wire bent round in a thumb-shape. The pincers can be operated by spring tension and requires only one draw cable (4). When pulling or sliding the pincer handle (2) the grippers attached to the bottom of the pincer halves (8,9) open and close accordingly. USE/ADVANTAGE - The thin wire of the grippers can reach easily through the ground to seize the weed at the root and enables easier gardening.
