PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight sanitary coverlet by forming an inner material composed of polyurethane sponge so as to have a dimension slightly smaller than the standard dimension of the coverlet to cover the same with polyester case fabric having the standard dimension and attaching the coverlet cover to the lower part of the case fabric in a freely detachable manner. CONSTITUTION:The inner material used for a coverlet having a standard dimension is formed from polyurethane sponge 9 having a thickness of about 25mm, a width shorter than that of each of a bed and the coverlet by about 50mm and a length of about 1750mm and having an uneven surface. This polyurethane sponge 9 is covered with polyester 100% case fabric having the standard dimension of the coverlet. At this time, an end edge part not packed with the inner material 9 is provided around the case fabric 6 and button holes 4 are provided to four corners of the end edge part and the respective one places of both sides thereof to constitute the coverlet. Engaging opening parts are provided to the center parts of both side parts of the coverlet cover 7 used for the coverlet and fabric buttons 5 are attached to the opening parts and button holes 4' are attached at inside positions. |
