<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid containing at least Direct Black 19, urea, taurine (derivative) and water, free from the lowering of ink-ejection property when used in a writing utensil, recording instrument, ink-jet printer, etc., and giving a water-resistant printed letter. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid free from the lowering of ink- ejecting property when used in a writing utensil, recording instrument, ink-jet printer, etc., and giving a mark (printed letter) having excellent water-resistance is produced by compounding (A) 5-20wt.% of a coloring agent, (B) 2-30wt.% of urea as an agent for preventing the drying of the recording liquid at a pen point or in an ink-ejection nozzle, (C) 0.2-10wt.% of taurine and/or its derivative as an agent for preventing the lowering of the ejection of the recording liquid and (D) water as a main solvent and, as necessary, properly adding (E) a pH modifier (e.g. sodium hydroxide and lithium hydroxide), a glycol solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol and thiodiglycol), a high-boiling water-soluble organic solvent (e.g. glycerol), a rust-proofing agent, a disinfectant, a surfactant, etc.</p> |
