PURPOSE:To provide an abnormality detection device for a vehicle yaw rate sensor which does not erroneously judge a sensor as fail even if a vehicle is turned such as for example when it is put on a turn table and turned. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle speed is substantially zero and an output from a yaw rate sensor is over a first specified value (psi1), a sensor is judged to be normal and, when the detected vehicle speed is not substantially zero and the output from the sensor is over a second specified value (psi0), the sensor is judged to be abnormal. |
