PURPOSE:To improve convenience in use for a telewriting device without generating inconvenience such as the erasure processing of the original image of a document. CONSTITUTION:A still picture conference device 1 is comprised of a main body device 2 provided with a speech function 8, a facsimile communication function, a telewriting communication function, a still picture conference function for proceedings, and a function to preserve the document information of conference data, etc., a scanner device 3, and a page printer 4, and performs the transfer of the information via an ISDN transmission line. An appropriate liquid crystal display 5, a touch panel 6 capable of designating an arbitrary one point on a display screen, a touch pen 7 for the operation of the touch panel, and a slot for floppy disk device 9 are provided at the main body device 2. A write infeasible area setting means of prescribed shape is provided at an image inputtable area on the display screen in this device, and a write operation is inhibited, and the coordinate of the operation is notified to an opposite terminal, while, the area when such notification is received from an opponent is set on a write operation inhibiting area. |
