A method for processing a soiled solvent, particularly a solvent used for dry cleaning clothes, by distillation for regeneration purposes is characterized in that the solvent undergoes a first incomplete distillation phase until a residue with a dirt content below a predetermined level is obtained, and an adequate quantity of liquid capable of forming an azeotrope with the solvent is then added to the residue to remove substantially all the residual solvent in azeotrope form, and said azeotrope is then distilled. An installation for implementing said method is also disclosed. |
