摘要 In the fluorometer, the specimen is stimulated to fluoresce by a laser light source (3) in the form of a laser diode with modulated intensity and continuously tunable frequency. The emitted radiation is measured and evaluated. The light from the source is focused onto the specimen (2). The image of the light from the specimen is formed on the input aperture of a monochromator (6) whose output light passes via a further focussing optical system to a detector (7). Part of the beam is diverted to a reference detector (10). The relative phase angles of the intensity modulated signals from the measurement and reference detectors and their degrees of modulation are determined. USE/ADVANTAGE- For examination of organic molecule complexes such as protein. Can be used for higher modulation frequencies.
