PURPOSE:To minimize the gap between rotors and improve performance by generating and machining the surface of one rotor with the ground film formed on the surface of the other rotor, and finally forming the tooth profile of one rotor and the minimum gap between both rotors respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a pair of male and female rotors 1, 2 supported by bearings 5 are synchronously rotated by a driving pinion 3 via a pair of timing gears 4, air is fed by pressure from a suction port A to a discharge port B in an unlubricated screw compressor. A hard film 10 is formed on the surface of the male rotor 1, and high-hardness grains 11 are dispersed in the film 10. A soft film 12 is formed on the surface of the female rotor 2. Both rotors 1, 2 are assembled into the compressor, and they are synchronously rotated for the load operation. The film 12 of the female rotor 2 is scraped by the film 10 of the male rotor 1, the surface of the female rotor 2 is generated and machined, and the tooth profile of the female rotor 2 and the minimum gap between both rotors 1, 2 are finally formed. |
