PURPOSE:To provide the tree structure drawing plotter which plots a tree structure drawing for grasping an entire image at a glance while making the levels of nodes clear without crossing nodes and link lines. CONSTITUTION:When tree structure data and the plotting parameter of a tree are inputted, a border line generation/merge part 4 generates the border lines of leaf nodes, merges the border lines of brother's nodes and calculates a relative coordinate between the brother's nodes. The data of the merged border lines are discriminated by a maximum width calculation part 6 and a height discrimination part 7 of the nodes at the same level and processed and further, the border lines are extended by a border line extension part 8. The respective nodes are designated by a control part 2 successively from the leaf nodes to root nodes. A tree structure plotting part 3 can calculate the absolute coordinates of all the nodes by the relative coordinates between all the nodes and an inputted absolute coordinate. Then, the tree structure drawing is plotted according to the inputted plotting parameter. |
