PURPOSE:To improve the working rate of an automatic transaction device and also to improve the services to the customers by deciding the factors of the input incapability of a touch sensor due to the undesired objects like a bag, etc., put on a screen and by informing a user to eliminate those factors in order to quickly restore the function of the touch sensor. CONSTITUTION:A touch sensor 6 is provided on a display screen set at the front surface of an automatic transaction device and can perform the input operations through the touches of fingers of a user on the screen. Then, an input defect of the sensor 6 is decided by a touch sensor control part 7 when the sensor 6 detects two touch positions or more at one time. A main control part 8 decides to inform the user of the occurrence of an error when the input defects of a prescribed frequency are detected continuously. At the same time, the part 8 display the information of the error to the user to eliminate the undesired objects out of the screen be cause these objects cause the input incapable states of the sensor 6. |
