PURPOSE:To increase the torsion rigidity of a grip portion by inclining the directions of the cords of the grip containing cords with regard to a shaft axis center in the case of a golf club. CONSTITUTION:A grip is a rubber one that is manufactured by the vulcanization forming of rubber, and arrangement is made so that the directions of cords 2 may be inclined by predetermined angles theta1, theta2 in regard to a shaft axis center L. The cords 2 put in inclination with regard to the shaft axis center L resisting against the torsion deformation of the grip and serve as reinforcement. Also, by discriminating the absolute value of the angle theta1 from that of the angle theta2, the quality of direction is brought forth at torsion, so, for example, a grip that is easy to twist in a direction in which a face becomes close, can be made simply for a player who is troubled with slice. Thus, a golf club whose ball hitting direction is stable, can be obtained, and at the same time, for a player who worries about slice or hook, it becomes possible to provide a golf club which solves it. |
