Fibre wadding cleaning

To clean fibre wadding material derived from different sources, at the fine cleaning stage before it is passed to a card or similar processing stage, it is drawn according to the fibre nature between a clamping point at the feed where the wadding is compressed and clamped and a transfer point at the fibre opening roller. The material is generally drawn when taken by the opening roller, and then subjected to centrifugal forces. While the centrifugal forces are maintained, separating blades are passed through for the impurities to be spun clean from their edges.
